Chicana Service Action Center, Inc. (CSAC) was founded in 1972. CSAC has continuously developed and implemented programs to increase the economic participation and personal self-reliance of women. CSAC provides the following programs: secretarial business courses (and on-the-job training positions); nontraditional employment program for women in the building trades; youth comprehensive center/education and employment; a 24-hour bilingual domestic hotline; and other programs that foster empowerment and self-sufficiency. CSAC serves the quad-county area of Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, and San Bernadino. |
