Community Child Care Council of Santa Clara County
Founded in 1972, Community Child Care Council of Santa Clara County (4C) is designated by the California Department of Education to provide child care resources and referral services in Santa Clara County. The services offered include child care resources and referrals, child care payments on behalf of qualified families, and food subsidy payments to family daycare providers who provide nutritious meals to children. 4C provides child development training classes and also advocates for capacity-building programs to support existing child care providers and help new providers. 4C also provides training and technical assistance to providers. The Council also provides child care development training and technical assistance to new or current providers, including child development workshops and seminars on business start-up issues as well as First Aid/CPR. Additional child development training classes are offered to support capacity-building efforts to support existing child care providers or help individuals to become new child care providers. |
