Hispanic Health Council
Founded in 1979, Hispanic Health Council (HHC) addresses the physical health, mental health, and educational needs of Hartford’s Puerto Rican community. HHC provides services and advocacy in the areas of AIDS prevention, information and education, child abuse prevention, family health, maternal health, substance abuse, women’s health and development, and cultural awareness. HHC is also building a comprehensive health database, and offers a training site for local and international health practitioners and students. |
