Tertulia Charter School is a dual-language charter school dedicated to creating a community of learners who have the skills to be successful in any situation and the ability and awareness to actively create new opportunities for success. Tertulia’s educational program stresses the following three goals: developing bilingualism through intensive academic instruction, project-based learning, and community-building. Tertulia combines traditional classroom instruction with hands-on projects that benefit the school or the larger community. Through these projects, students gain and apply skills in all curricular areas, research related topics, raise funds and resources, invite guest speakers, and present their knowledge to the community. Charter school programs are available for grades K-8.
