For over 30 years, San Ysidro Health Center (SYHC) has provided low-cost, high-quality, comprehensive primary care services to San Diego County's South Bay Region. In 1968, area residents recognized the need for quality health services in their community and began a collaborative partnership with the University of San Diego School of Medicine. SYHC was incorporated in 1971, and the original clinic was built the following year. Driven by the community's need for essential health and social services, SYHC has grown steadily and now maintains three clinic sites that are strategically located to serve the medical needs of the entire South Bay Region.
