Salem/Keizer Coalition for Equality (SKCE) is a multiracial/multi-ethnic community organization formed whose work is motivated by the education and justice inequities faced by poor and minority children, youth, families, and adults in Salem/Keizer. Their mission is to promote equality in education and justice; advocate for respect of civil and human rights; seek accountability from administrators and policy makers; and seek to unite the Salem/Keizer community to speak with one voice to end discrimination. Their main goal is to empower students, parents, and the community by giving them a voice in the institutions that affect and represent them.
