Rural Opportunities, Inc. (ROI) is a private, not-for-profit regional community development and human service organization providing services to farmworkers, low-income families and economically depressed communities. ROI’s mission is to improve the lives and living conditions of participants through self-help and advocacy, offering services in adult training and employment, health and safety, business and economic development, child and youth development, homeownership and rehabilitation, and affordable housing development and management. Founded in 1969, ROI assists people in New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Ohio, Indiana, Vermont, Virginia and Puerto Rico.
