    National Council of La Raza (NCLR), the largest constituency-based Hispanic organization in the United States, presented the 1999 ALMA Awards on April 11th. The ALMA Awards were created to recognize the positive portrayal of Latino images in American film and television. The 1999 ALMA Awards will be broadcast on June 3rd from 8:00-10:00PM on ABC.
