El Hogar del Niño is committed to providing high-quality services in the Pilsen community of Chicago. El Hogar provides practical social-cultural information about schools, hospitals, police and fire protection, and other community services. It also provides a variety of educational programs, including child care and after-school tutoring services. In collaboration with NCLR’s Education programs, El Hogar del Niño operates after-school academic enrichment programs for elementary and junior high school students, and parent education and literacy programs for parents.
