The Hispanic Services Council Inc. (HSC) is a community-based organization based in Tampa, Florida whose mission is to assist Latino families in successfully integrating into the community through bilingual/bicultural support services, education, and advocacy. Concerns over Hispanic families’ lack of access to the extensive array of local family support services led Latino social workers in the early 1990s to create the informal network that became Hispanic Services Council. Since its founding in 1992, HSC has worked to promote and address the interests, needs, and rights of Latinos in Hillsborough County, Florida.
