Panelists: Dr. Joxel Garcia, Deputy Director of the Pan American Health Organization and former commissioner of the Connecticut Department of Public Health, who will provide an overview of the growing mental health issues affecting Latinas. Dr. Mary Barreto, a Psychologist and Educator from California; and Dr. Belisa Lozano Vranich, a clinical psychologist from New York and consultant for the National Mental Health Association in Washington, and co-author of The Seven Beliefs: A Step-by-Step Guide to Help Latinas Recognize and Overcome Depression.
