Fraud Alert in the Latino Community
Beware of People Charging Money to “Fix” Your Immigration Status

Anyone who claims that there is a new legalization program in the U.S. is committing fraud. There is no new legalization program. The Senate has passed an immigration bill, but that does not mean automatic legalization. Do not give money to people so they can “fix” your immigration status. It is critical that the Latino community be continuously and accurately updated on the formation of the path to legalization. The National Council of La Raza will keep you informed of developments as they occur. Again, the immigration bill has not been enacted.
