However, there are many resources at the local and national level for those who are seeking to begin the process of becoming a U.S. citizen.

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS)

The primary focus of the USCIS Office of Citizenship is on providing information and resources to immigrants at two milestones in their journey toward civic integration: 1) when they first become permanent residents and 2) when they are ready and eligible to begin the formal naturalization process.
