SAVE THE DATE!  In 2010, National Advocacy Day will be on March 3 and 4!

The 2009 NCLR National Issue Briefing and Advocacy Day was a great success!  On March 4 and 5, more than 320 National Council of La Raza (NCLR) Affiliates, community leaders, and youth convened from 34 states and the District of Columbia to learn about and advocate for issues of concern to the Latino community at the 2009 NCLR National Issue Briefing and Advocacy Day.  After an intensive day of policy briefings and advocacy trainings on March 4, advocates spoke directly to members of Congress and their staff on immigration reform, education, health care reform, wealth-building, juvenile justice, and employment on March 5.

If you attended this year’s National Advocacy Day, please take a few minutes to complete our short online evaluation.  We thank you in advance for your candid feedback.
