The NCLR Annual Conference serves as a catalyst for new thought and progress for over 20,000 community organization leaders and activists, elected officials, members of the corporate and academic communities, senior citizens, and youth. The Conference will be held at the San Diego Convention Center, 111 W. Harbor Dr., San Diego, CA, 92101.

Outreach and Planning Meetings
As part of our commitment to fully engage the regional Latino population in Annual Conference, we convene a number of local community partners. Community partners assist NCLR in its planning and outreach, and add valuable insight regarding local events and key resources and contacts.
NCLR will hold community meetings throughout the San Diego area in the months leading up to Conference. This is a great opportunity to get involved and share ideas about the planning and promotion of the event. Working committees in the areas of Health, Homeownership, Media, and Outreach and Promotions will partner with NCLR to secure key local resources and market the NCLR Annual Conference and the Latino Expo USA to the community. Diabetes Dash 
The Diabetes Dash is more than a 5k run/walk. We will have informational materials on hand and encourage our Dash sponsors and partners to share information about diabetes prevention techniques and programs, as well as resources available for families who may be dealing with this disease. As an added interactive educational resource for attendees, we also plan to coordinate warm-up sessions and nutrition demonstrations before the run begins.
The NCLR Diabetes Dash has an estimated attendance/participation of 1,000-1,500 people, with friends and family lending support.
Latino Expo USA
Latino Expo USA is the largest Hispanic consumer show in the country. The doors to the Exhibit Hall swing open to a sea of smiles and the hurried footsteps of almost 20,000 people. Attendees are eager to visit the 250+ exhibits and learn about the latest products, services, and programs for the Hispanic community.
Corporations, government agencies, and community-based organizations all share in the opportunity to showcase their offerings to the Hispanic consumer.
